I have just had the most amazing meditation! Why was it amazing? Because I have just met a spirit guide!!

Spirit guides are here to help us on our paths, to help us through good and bad times and to help us with specific areas in our lives. We all have a spirit guides and probably more than one. They will show up when you least expect it, just like this one I have just had!

I decided to do a meditation and thought I’d just listen to some drumming music. I first cleansed myself with some sage and sat down and started listening to the drumming. I was at a clearing in a forest with a great big Oak Tree. I went through a hole in the Oak Tree and NATIVE AMERICAN CARD 2travelled deep down into the ground. I came to a doorway which I went through and I found myself in a beautiful crystal cave. In the centre of the cave was a kind of bird bath with water in it. I approached it and heard someone say look into it. I turned around and saw a old Native American Indian. I asked who he was and he said take a look in the pool first. So I took a look and I saw myself as a Native American. He said that is you, you in a past life, your name Song Bird Hawk Woman. He then told me his name was White Cloud and he was here to guide me on my Shamanic path. He said I have done some healing this year and I am on the right path. He is here to help me on this path and I should call on him when ever I need him.

There was a bit more to the meditation but you get the gist! I was not expecting to meet any guides when doing my meditation and maybe that is why one appeared, I do not know.

Would you like to meet a Spirit Guide? Try following the meditation below:

Cleanse yourself with some sage if you can, sit down or lie down and relax, put on some calming music. Set your intention to meet a Spirit Guide.

Imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet, growing deep into the ground and finding a big rock to wrap themselves around. Breathe in the golden light of the core of the earth, up into your roots, up in to your feet, up through your entire body and exploding out the top of your head tumbling down you. Then imagine a white light from above you coming down into your head, right though your body, out of the soles of your feet, into the roots, into the ground.

Take a few deep breaths and imagine you are in a forest clearing. Look around you what do you see? There is a big Oak Tree in the distance, you decide to walk towards it. When you get nearer you see a big hole in the trunk, like a doorway. You enter it and travel deep down into the ground. Going deeper and deeper until you see a light. You go towards the light and enter it. Once you have gone through the light you find your self in a beautiful crystal cave. Look around what do you see? Have a good look around. Once you have had a look round you sense someone is there. You turn round and there is someone standing there. It is a Spirit Guide. You ask them who they are and have a long conversation with them. Ask them their name, what are they there to help you with, do they have any messages for you? Once you have finished talking to them, they give you a gift. You say thank you and good bye and make your way back through the doorway you entered, up the path to take you back to the forest clearing. Up and up you go and come back through the Oak Tree in to the clearing. Take a few deep breaths and come back to the room.

Remember you can always do this meditation again and always talk to your Spirit Guides.

Angels and meditation

Do you believe in angels? I definitely do!

Angels are here to help and guide us. They are here to give love and comfort and just to talk if that is all we need. Just ask!

Angels are angelic beings of light coming from a higher dimension. People see them as balls of light, a human figure with wonderful white wings or orbs. There are many books on people en counting an angel which you can read up on if your interested. But why not meet your Guardian Angel? You can simply do this by meditation. Try the following meditation…..angel

Put on some relaxing music, sit or lie down and start to relax. Imagine yourself in a beautiful meadow and there is a mountain near you. You can hear the birds singing and the bees buzzing. You can smell the wonderful scents of the flowers about you. You start to walk towards the mountain, once you come to the bottom you see there is a path going up. You decide to climb the mountain and take the path. As you climb higher and higher, winding around and round up and up, you breath in the cool fresh air, taking in the view around you. You may encounter animals along the way, if you do take note of them. You finally reach the top, and there at the top is a bright glowing light, you take a closer look and see that it is an escalator going up, up into the heavens. You decide to step on it. Up and up it takes you into the clouds and beyond. Up and up, higher and higher you go. Look around you, what do you see? Do you sense anything at all? You are now approaching the top, you step off the escalator and look around. What do you see? You hear the most wonderful music and decide to following it, its sounds like voices and harp strings and pianos, but you cant make it out entirely. Following the music you come to a big crystal building, you take the steps up to the doors and enter, there inside you see your Guardian Angel. You approach them and say hello. Talk to your angel, ask them their name, what are they here for and do they have a message? Talk to them for however long you wish. Once you have finished, thank them and say good bye. Make your way back to the escalator, step on the escalator to take you down, you are now at the top of the mountain, you walk back down the mountain taking note of any animals or flowers you may see. Once at the bottom, come back to the room and open your eyes. Remember to write down your experience, what you saw and what you felt if anything.

So as I said in my last blog, I’m going to give you a bit more information about Unicorns.

The name Unicorn means in Latin Unus ‘One’ and Cornu ‘Horn’. The Unicorn is a mythical creature like a horse with a straight or spiralled horn extending from its forehead. The traditional Unicorn also has a billy-goat beard. unicorn 2

They are  very close to the angelic and faery realms and so they come bringing pure angelic healing energy. They are known as 7th dimensional beings and very highly advanced. They symbolise or represent the holy spirit and the truth that we are all pure light. The Unicorn is selfless yet solitary and fierce yet good. Beautiful, wild, proud, peaceful, humble, angelic, mysterious, pure, graceful and divine.

The Unicorns are here to guide us and help us remember who we really are. They are here to awaken our inner child, to encourage you to follow your heart, guide you to take steps towards your life purpose and so much more.

Everyone has a Unicorn guide. Just like everyone has Angel and Faery guides. To connect to your Unicorn guide try this mediation……

Put some relaxing music on or nature sounds, sit or lay down and relax. Imagine yourself in a clearing in the woods. Its a beautiful summers day and the sun is shining brightly through the trees. You decide to sit down  in the centre of the clearing and close your eyes and listen to the sounds of the woodlands. You can hear the birds tweeting, the bees buzzing and the breeze against the trees. As you sit their listening you become very relaxed and one with nature. You decide to ask to meet your Unicorn guide, so in your mind you say, Unicorn guide please come to me and reveal yourself so I know who you are and can get to know you. You wait and listen and see if they come. You then hear a rustle in the trees and feel a presence. You open your eyes and there in front of you on the edge of the clearing is your guide. You say hello and have a conversation with them. Ask them their name, what are they there to guide you with and anything else you would like to talk about. Once you have finished, thank them and say goodbye. You sit back in the centre of the clearing and close your eyes and come back to the room.

Remember once you have done this meditation to write down your experience so you don’t forget in future. Remember you can always do this meditation to visit your guide and ask for advice.

I hope you do decide to meet your Unicorn guide and start to regularly connect with them. They are the most wonderful loving being who can offer so much. I still have so much to learn myself!

Meditation & Unicorns

I want to share with you a meditation I did a month or so ago. I thought it would be appropriate here as my last blog was about meditation and I have been urged to share it with you as well.

One day I wanted to just sit and listen to the beautiful binaural beats and water piece (which I spoke about last time and gave you a link) and just relax. I thought about what I wanted from the meditation and decided that I wanted to communicate with the Faeries. All I did is decide this and just let the water take me on a journey.

I found myself on a path, a bit like a lane with bushes either side and a dirt track. It was quite dark and wet as I recall. Then I saw a

beautiful white Unicorn. It was standing there looking at me. I approached it and said hello and asked if it had a message for me. The unicornsUnicorn said yes and asked me to get on his back. So I climbed on and it started up the path and started galloping. Although it was going quite fast I didn’t really need to hold on tight. The Unicorn finally came to a halt by a beautiful stream and there was others there. I got off the Unicorn and stood there while they gave me a message. The message was that they were here for me and I can call upon them any time I like. They also said they were here to help me with my new business and they would offer me guidance. I asked what  should I do first  and they did give me some tips. But one thing they did want me to share was who they are. They wanted me to write about them, let others know they were there and they are here to help. I then said goodbye and walked back down the path and came back.

You may think its strange that I started out deciding to communicate with the Faeries and that Unicorns came to me instead. I did find this strange too. However Unicorns are close to the Faeries and so are Angels. Although I asked for Faeries I got what I needed at the time. I never really thought about Unicorns before, but they have now showed themselves to me and so this has got me very intrigued. Since the meditation I have seen nothing but Unicorns pop up as well! This is their way of trying to communicate and let me know they are there. I have since looked into the Unicorns more and what they are about. I still have a long way to go and I will continue to meditate and meet with them to gain more insight and how they can help me more as well as any other things they may want me to share.

In my next blog I will write more about the Unicorns and how they are here to help us all.

Earth’s Wisdom





Meditation is something I wish I could do more of but life takes over and there never seems to be time! However we must take time for this simple exercise. Even if its just 15 mins a day, we surely must have that!

Meditation is such a wonderful way to switch off from the real world and just simply relax. Listening to some lovely music to take you away for a few minutes, not worrying about a thing and just be. You can also take it further in times you need guidance, by doing a guided meditation to visit a guide or simply seeing what comes up for you and asking your guides for help.

When I just want to relax, I love listening to a Binaural beats with rain piece. CLICK HERE to listen to it. I simply put my earphones in, darken the room, close my eyes and just listen. It just takes me away into bliss. It goes on for about 20 to 30 mins, but sometimes I wish it didn’t stop! Why don’t you try it yourself? If your mind starts to wander, its ok, try to focus back on the rain.

I also love guided meditations. Sometimes when you need some guidance or simply have a hard time switching off its best to have a guided mediation as you will have to focus on where you go therefore forgetting about chores you have to do or worrying about something happening etc.

I once was very down and in need of guidance. When I went to a group I use to be with, they took me through a guided meditation. I grand timecant remember the exact details but it was along the lines of going through a wood and then up a mountain and I would meet someone there. So as i went through this meditation i got up to the top of the mountain and there was a very old man sitting there. He had long
white hair and a long white beard. I asked him who he was and if he had a message for me and he said he was Grandfather Time. He said that time heals everything and that I will get over what I was going through at the time. Im sure he said a few more things but as this was over a year ago I have forgotten what exact words he said. But he still sticks in my head. At the time his message to me and just him alone being the person I met at the top of mountain was what I needed and fitted into exactly what was happening with me. He was right of course, time heals everything!

So if you would like to do a guided meditation why not try this one I am about to give you. You can either read it aloud and record it on your laptop or other recording device or get someone else to read It for you, or if you have a very good memory, read through it first and take it from there! Put on some relaxing music, close your eyes and a take this journey…….

Imagine you are in a beautiful forest. In front of you there is a path way through the trees, you decide to walk towards it and take the path. As you are walking through the trees you come to a circular clearing and in the middle is a huge oak tree. Its the most magnificent tree you have seen and it is calling to you. You walk up to this beautiful tree and you have this incredible urge to hug it, so you go ahead and do this. You feel the wonderful energy coming from the tree filling you with unconditional love. You stay hugging the tree for a while and then you see there is an opening in the tree, you decide to go through the opening and there is a narrow tunnel going down into the ground, it winds round and round, deeper and deeper you go. You eventually come out into a wonderful meadow. Look around you, what do you see? Are there any trees?, flowers?, water? Have a good look around. After a while of exploring you see a circle of large stones. It looks very sacred to you and you decide to walk into the middle of the stones. You can feel a wonderful energy while you stand there so you decide to sit down and enjoy the energy. While you sit there soaking up the energy you feel that there is someone there with you. You are not scared as you sense it is a friend, a guide of some sort. You look around and a figure is coming towards the stones, they enter the stones and talk to you. (Talk with this person or guide for how ever long you wish. Ask them questions, who are they? have they a message for you?). After you have finished talking to this person, thank them for being there and say goodbye. Make your way back to the opening where you entered the meadow, up the winding narrow path up the tree and come out at the top into the forest clearing. You decide to hug the huge oak tree again and thank it for its loving energy and say goodbye. You make your way back through the forest to where you started. Take your time to open your eyes and digest what you have experienced. Write down your experiences.


I would also like to point out that some people say you should protect yourself when entering into meditation. There are many ways to do this but a simple way is just imagine yourself in a big bubble and nothing can get in it! Thats all!
